To Tone Map Or Not To Tone Map That Is The Question, in general not just this image, what do you think? do you tone amp images ?

hmmm... hard one. maybe a mix of the 2! layer 1 on to the other and set opacity to 50% or summit..?
 
I've got to say out of the two I prefer the second one that isn't tone mapped. The sky looks more natural but there isn't as much detail in the church...hmmm, it's hard to say...
 
Tough one. Almost looks like, if you add warmth to the 2nd you'd get a similar result, of course that would change more than just the brick work. I'd conclude as above, try blending them.
 
Thanks guys I meant in general not just this image, over the last few months I have tended to tone map everything, I do like both dont know which I prefer, I lke some parts of the tone mapped and most of the non tone mapped :thinking: :shrug: Do you use tone mapping any one?

I cant blend them as they were edited separately and wouldn't align properly
