As above

I have a 70-200L & the 17-50 neither have filters on, is it worth adding one and what would you recommend?

Hoya Pro UV??

Cheers.

A polariser is definitely worthwhile on the 17-50, I used to use UVs but decided they're a waste of time except in very harsh environments (heavy sea spray etc)

I always use the hood was just wondering if its worth it.

I have a few specs of dust in my 17-50 but they don't seem to affect the images so thats cool, nothing so far in the 70-200 :D.
