Folks

I would like to put two canvas prints up in the house, one along a tall, narrow wall in the hallway (the Eiffel Tower shot) and another as a panorama on a back wall of the living/dining room (the Lago Maggiore shot). My sizes are 24x16 for the former and 48x18 for the latter. I am inclined to use Trade Canvas Print given the good reviews and the flexibility in terms of sizing as against Oxford Imaging, for example.

As these are my first, can anyone offer tips on whether these are suitable shots and whether you would advise one type of edge over another (I think mirror probably) or generally any tips for a first-timer about to lay down over £100 on canvases!

Many thanks.

Hi,

Saw this thread so thought I'd offer some advice (as you've mentioned us) I'm not on here much at the moment taking some time off work etc over xmas and New Years. Both images would work fine with mirrored edges, we can also clone out any distractions that may appear on the edges as a result of the mirroring, like a repeat of the top of the Eiffel Tower, or parts of the lamp post. Hope this helps.....

Thanks Ben

Thanks Ben. And the photos are both 16.2 megapixel but one is at ISO 400. How much of a problem is that for the sizes I am talking about?
