...and you forgot it or didn't own it then?

I'm sure theres plenty, I just think it's a shame I didn't take it on holidays, Barcelona in particular. I've seen some locely pictures from there, and I think it's a shame that I couldn't get a few.

What about you guys?

Not so much not bringing a camera, but not bringing the "proper" one.

I've been seduced into only taking my wife's small Fuji digicam on a few occasions, rather than my Canon DSLR.

It's a great little camera for what it is, but quality at higher ISOs, focus speed / ability (especially in low light) and the speed of making exposure changes all mean that I've either totally missed shots or come away with a poorly exposed, poorly focused or overly noisy shot.

Moral: don't be lazy - carry the big one...

I'd probably have to say the birth of my son... I forgot to take it.

My son was born in 1997, at the time I had a Dynax 700si, my wife needed a caesarian but I bought the camera anyway as I thought i'd take some of the baby when He'd been cleaned up, one of the doctors took a shine to the camera asking me loads of questions about it.

They prepared my wife and put a screen up so we couldn't see what was going on, the doctor then asked if i'd like some photos of the actual birth, me being a bit in awe of doctors said yes, he shot 34 pictures :bat: leaving me 2 :bang:

when I got the film developed it was like the cutting room floor after they finished shooting Ridley Scotts Alien film, blood, guts, open wounds :gag:

when my daughter was born in 2000 I didn't tell them I had a camera:D

I wish I had mine yesterday, I was fishing for Barbel on the River Ouse at dawn.......and a Kingfisher landed about 15 yards away from me, it stayed there for a good 30 seconds then shot off. I was gutted! Although I am certain if I had my camera it wouldnt of landed there:lol:
