Time for my next/first investment - Help please!!

As is fairly apparent from my threads and posts and poor pics :(, I am a newbie a with a Samsung GX 10 + 18-55mm & 50-200mm kit lenses.

The lenses are suiting me fine at present but the time has come to invest in an external flash. This is where I come a cropper and my knowledge (which is limited anyway!) runs out.

I don't have a hugh budget and don't really want to spend a hugh amount on my first flash unit.

Here is my question, what can you recommend that is compatible with my GX-10. I am struggling, mainly due to not being able to understand and get my head round the differences between TTL, P-TTL nad A-TTL and quite frankly I am lost and confused!! :bang::shrug::thinking:

Any light you peeps can shed on what seems to be a dark (pardon the pun) confusing world of flash guns I'd be extremely grateful.

Rob,

I am no expert with flash, but the differing types of TTL are manufacture specific, I would therefore suggest you start by looking at the Samsung recomended units, then some of the third party ones

The samsung units recommended that I have found are in the £150 - i was hoping for cheap[er so start. Ill start looking at third party now.
I was just interested in what others have found.

i no nothing bout the samsung range, but ittl and ettl etc are basically all the same thing but different suppliers(not interchangeable as far as im aware). i would do as graham suggests and look at the samsung flashgun range.
