I'm wanting to upgrade the kit lens that came with my 400D. When I bought it, I also got a tamaron 70-300mm as part of a bundle deal. After a few months of using both lenses I must admit that the kit lens feels alot cheaper and doesnt produce as good results as the tamaron lens (a little bit of an unfair comparion as they are two different types of lens for a start!)
SO, I would like to buy a better performing lens
. What would you recommend? Im still fairly new to SLR photography so dont really want to go spending megabucks on a lens just yet. The current lens is a 18-55m so would like a similar kind of range. Any advice would be a great help
