Was that really you? Surely it can't be safe to leave a running chain saw on the floor whilst you walk around it? Perhaps I've missed a joke :bonk: It is very late so forgive me :shrug:
 
Hi Alex yes that's me, the chainsaw is only ticking over, it is clutch driven when you rev it up. Btw that was only a tiny tree.:)
 
Sorry, I've seen that many stupidly PC videos at work about how you shouldn't reach above your head to pick something up (always use a step ladder!) or pick something up off the ground without bending at your knees as well as your waist, yadda yadda yadda!

I watched your video thinking it was one of those Youtube vids where somebody suddenly looses a limb :eek:

In hindsight it was some of the most beautiful and professional tree felling I've ever seen, having never seen any before ;)

Not at all "Woodsy"....... is there a connection:D.
The tree was already dead and fully seasoned.
I also have to be careful how many dead trees I remove because they provide food and nesting sites for the resident woodpeckers.
