Tiffen Filters

Has anyone used Tiffen filters? If so are they comparable with Hoya etc?

I've got a few Tiffen filters. A 62mm Haze-1, a 58mm Deep Yellow 15 and a 52mm Star 4pt 2mm (got the last 2 for $20 cdn in the sale). I haven't noticed any difference optically in them to a Hoya. They just seem to be made with a heavier metal and feel quite weighty.

My polariser is a Tiffen. Certainly hasn't given me any cause for concern about the optical quality (I have wondered, but just out of curiosity more than anything)

Thanks Marcel. It looks like they are not as popular as Hoya etc.
