Thruxton photography workshop

If you have ever wanted to get past the fences and crowds at Thruxton circuit,
and be that motor-sport photographer, now is your chance.

A fantastic opportunity to photograph at one of the UK’s fastest race circuits,
with full Photographers Accreditation.

We can start the day with a full breakfast at one of Thruxton`s restaurants,
and talk about the day. Before heading back to the media room for a brief safety talk.
Then on with the Thruxton Photo tabard and out on track.

You will receive lots of one-to-one tuition with tips and tricks through out the day, and get to areas of the circuit you could never photograph from before.
And we can return to the media room to upload your images to your laptop,
or mine if you don`t have one, to check on your images and your progress.

There is no time restriction out on the track, from the first race of the day till the last, the day is yours. So you can get the most from your day`s photography at Thruxton.
All I ask is that you turn up early so that we can get you ready, all paperwork signed and safety briefing.

What will you need?

DSLR (or SLR if you want to shoot film), no make or model restrictions.
Lenses, we can make a picture from what ever kit or lenses you have. Don`t worry!
Laptop, to check your images. But we can upload to mine if not.
And a decent pair of shoes, you’ll be on your feet all day!

What will you need to know?

How to get your camera into the different modes.
How to adjust the shutter speeds and F stops.
How to change the auto focus settings.

If you get stuck with this don’t worry, we’ll work it out :o)

And thats it!

This really is going to be a friendly small group, so you can really learn and get as much from as possible. Your really enjoy your day.
And the most important.... You'll get a picture you’ll be proud of.

If this seem all a bit too much.........

Then I also hold Trackday Photo Workshops.
These days are more for people who really just want to learn their camera,
and don`t want to shoot in front of a crowd or on a busy race day.
The pace is more relaxed, with the day aimed at learning.

Take your camera, a lens and its manual.
