Been here a couple of weeks now and finding it very useful. I'm Jon, a chap from Cheshire ;)
I'm a confirmed newbie and definite amateur, but loving snapping as a hobby so far. Learning as I go and finding lots of useful stuff on the forums.
Will soon pluck up courage to post pics I hope.

Thanks for all the welcomes, I've managed to add a link to my Flickr ( with all 26 !! photos on it) to my signature here, I'm still very much at the flowers and birds stage.

I've seen a few members pics on Flickr etc., and there is, it seems, a fairly well trodden path, that starts with flowers...and hopefully ends up with great shots of people, landscapes and all manner of other things in-between :);)
 
As above welcome to TP Jon, hope you are enjoying yourself here :)

Lots of useful help, advice and tips on here, don't be afraid to ask questions, plenty of helpful bods here ...
