Cannot stop new Tabs in IE9 from reverting back to blank page You can set it up in internet options and it is fine until you close explorer and boot it up again later. The problem seems to be in the internet options> Tabs window, that the Apply option is disabled by default. Just wondered if there was a way of forcing it?

you can set new tabs to be the first of your homepages.

in internet options go to tab settings.

edit - there isnt an apply button on the tabs setting though?

Sorry for the late reply Neil, like I say I know how to set a new Tab as your home page, and this works fine so long as I do not quit out of explorer. If I do and open explorer again it is back to a blank Tab. Seems there is quite a bit on it out there but no explanation on how to resolve it. I have uninstalled IE9 as admin, disabled firewall and security essentials. Re-installed IE9 again but to no avail :shrug:
