Do you have a specific type of picture you try to take at a wedding?

Not including the usual .. group photo's, signing the register, posing outside the church etc.
For example, we were married in St Lucia two years ago and had a couple of pics taken after the ceremony of us walking in to the sea, still in our bridal wear.
Or maybe something simple but effective like this ...

Do you try to capture the unusual?

Gary :)

i like to take a pic of all the guests waving at me while i take a pic from above, usually a window

we do the guests waving on the big group shot too. often tell em ," that was rubbish. lets have another go. after three etc".
the ring shot (fnar , fnar) is also popular.
like your shot gary , but maybe cropped in a liitle tighter.
when we do the cake cutting shots, the b+g often need very little encouragement to hold the knife at the others throat/stab in the back type shot. always funny.
my mrs likes the bride in foreground /groom in background type shot too. short DOF so ones in focus and one isnt.

weve had one or two grooms taking off the garter with his teeth too.:naughty:
