was at accy v newcastle tonight, then port vale saturday then cricket sunday
Thought I spotted you a couple of times, sat down in the corner near the home end.
no, we said Hi, you looked very busy. I was sat on the newcastle attack on the main stand side for all the match![]()
So chris and phil.. what did you think of our super duper updated floodlights? thats sarcasm BTW.... That was the first night match since floodlights upgraded and it was darker than last season around the goal area![]()
Just out of interest Tony, what was your mkIV pushing the ISO at?! And how did it perform?
I'm looking at my balance sheets and hopefully will have enough cash by Xmas to buy a mkIV.![]()
How about ISO 8000![]()
But it's a right royal pain and not acceptable that you spend many thousands on gear and even if its brand new you have to spend even more money to get them calibrated, the trouble i found when i got my Canon 300 and MK3 body calibrated was that the camera was fairly useless when i put another lens on it. :bang: have you tried your calibrated camera/lens on another camera/lens to check. Not going to happen Mr Coyle.
Now that i've got the lens/body combo sorted beautifully I no longer have Nikon pangs. If I get the mkIV in the new year (so 12 months after release - ergo cheaper and with kinks ironed out) then I'll gladly do the same with Canon at Elstree as it's just beautifully sharp.
The only thing I'm missing now is a bit of the uprated ISO that the mkIV has over the mkIII. I noticed it at the floodlit cricket on monday. Above ISO2000on mkIII. My schedule includes a 5:15pm KO in October at a rugby ground, so any extra ISO "headroom" would be nice. It's only going to continue in the new year, so might as well invest.
I am at Oxford on sat then 2 cricket matches on Sunday
