HDR is fantastic when done correctly and thankfully he does. It's a shame he hasn't made the original file available for download as I feel that would be epic to watch on a huge screen in its original uncompressed glory.

Wow!

Well I don't really want to critique an outside link, but amazing is not the word that springs to mind for me.

I would like to know how he did the tracking.

Those videos are unreal, the one at 1min 25 is simply stunning.

me too

Pics didnt do alot for me I'll admint, but then i watched the vids

Dont think i could take one pic that good, let alone 300+ to make the clips

they are good but i've seen better on here from some of our talented landscape togs

It's mostly done with a Stage Zero dolly, a 6' long pole which you can move the camera base along at incredibly slow speeds to give the grand movements in the video. He also uses another type of dolly for more complicated movements as well

The basic principle is very simple, but getting to his levels is crazy, probably involving bramping, and lots(!) of practice

Truely amazing photos, I would like a fraction of his talent for that, still I can dream

Volume 2 - absolutely incredible. Very planet earth esque cinematography - inspiring stuff!

Wow! Just wow!

Just watched both videos in full screen on my pc monitor and it looks amazing... Got vimeo app on my samsung smart tv so will search it on that and see what it looks like on a 64" Plasma!
