Bought a 70-200 F4.0 from Kerso, which came shipped from the states for 377.00 off ebay brand new boxed all american postage paid and no duty etc. The piece arrived real quick seeing as where it came from and Jessops seriously need to evaluate their pricing, either they think they can hike for xmas or someone has really dropped off cos a lot of their lenses or way overpriced !!!! was never a great fan of thiers anyway to be fair There are good people on both ebay and palces like warehouse express and nowadays if your unfortunate to have to return they normally replace and sort afterwards.

Yup, that was the campaign. Very recently done too. Word is,
they've already pulled the plug on it.

Unfortunately, they are entitled to

TBH I think it's alot of the left arm not knowing what the right arm is doing, and the head not talking to the arse.
Some stores are happily still adhering to the campaign, others are refusing point blank, citing that it's now ended again. (Even after phone calls to head office).

Well I went into Jessops this morning to pick up a Canon powershot G7 that my brother in-law had ordered.

Jessops wanted £448.99 for it, but I went in armed with a print off from their sister company Cameras2u.com who are selling it for £308.25. http://www.cameras2u.com/products/details.cfm?PRODUCT=1285B008AA Jessops priced matched it and gave me 110% of the difference. The total came to £294.50, so they are still price matching. They don't like doing it, but with the pint off and a copy of the magazine with their advert claiming to beat internt prices they gave in.

Standard issue excuse they have prepared for the emails regarding there idiotic price rises.

I find that patronising. So all there lenses were on special offer till now. Special offers that were on the whole still more expensive than everyone else? I don't think so.
