you might find that the accuracy is just that you spot the errors now where you didn't before......

I think so re working in ettl but aint sure

the 270ex is much smaller than my 580 and 430, never used a 550 though

the 270 is very plasticky (am mate had one)

have you thought about going to manual flash, then you can move it off camera easily when you want
