My missus wants to watch her cr*p on telly, while I want to watch my cr*p on telly. Why can't they make a telly with a split screen, so we can both watch our own stuff? Is there such a thing as a split screen telly?
So what would the rest of us like to see invented?

Split screen tvs have been around for a while now, only problem is you can only listen to 1 screen

I thought there might be a snag, so they need to invent one that outputs both programmes audio :)

Compared to a few years ago, TVs are dirt cheap so buy 2 smaller ones and watch one each! (With headphones.)

I was in Aldi the other day with my stepson. He grabbed me and exclaimed: 55" telly's shouldn't be less than £300!

Turn TV off, talk to each other

Ironically, this is what me and the wife find ourselves doing more and more lately.
100's of channels, and cr@p on all of 'em.
Telly off, music on, glass of wine, and a chat or a good book.
Heaven !

I know they exist as Land Rover used to fit them for the front TVs on range rovers, if you were in the passenger seat you could be watching a film and from the drivers side it would be displaying the sat nav on the same screen...not sure it's ever been scaled up to big screens though

We could always buy a Land Rover and get the split screen thrown in :)

Now there's an idea, and you'll have a nice comfy seat too :P
