Great win but let's not get carried away! When we beat Germany 5-1 in Munich all the press thought it was going to be dawn of a new era, we were world beaters, going to win world cup etc What happened? England didn't do anything of note afterwards!

You are of course quite right. Of course the flip side is that, despite how often they've let us down, it's good that when it comes to World Cups the fans do get behind their team.
