Yes
Put a new film in the ME Super. Wound on, closed the back, released the shutter - it won't wind on again. Open it up, have a look, nothing - suddenly it'll wind on again. Release the shutter, close the back, it won't wind on again. Take off the lens cap, look through the VF into blackness. Suddenly the mirror slaps back down, and I realise that releasing the shutter in aperture priority mode with the lens cap on produces REALLY long exposures . . . d'oh!

I don't think I could ever take a large format photo. Far too many ways to cock it up.

Ha ha yes I have done that a few times as well

Yep, guilty here too :)

I also forget that I've switched on safety shift on the T90, which will automatically change shutter or aperture in the AE modes if the metering tells the camera that the shot is out of range. Fire off a shot in a darkened room and wait because the camera has opted for a 30-second exposure. I wouldn't mind but as I'm doing my OCOLOF, I'm only dry-firing the T90 to keep everything moving!

Yes, with the ME I usually change to the flash setting, and quite often remember to change it back!

I'd probably learn more from that book than a book on how it should be done.

In the realm of camera operation there's far more to forget with digital - all those menu & button settings! My favourite camera is Neanderthal.
