The Turning Gate web galleries plug-in for Lightroom

Yes. They are awesome. Slightly fiddly to configure first time around but very good work.

Which gallery are you looking at? I use the client approval gallery for commercial work - I whack the pics into a gallery, client selects the ones they want and I get an email with edit requests.

You have a (fairly clunky) method of initially customising the galleries to match your brand. Once it is set up it works really beautifully right out of LR. For reasons I forget, I choose to export to a folder and then FTP - but you could do that in one action.

I don't have a plan yet. Just a general inquiry. But for the moment it would be to create a gallery quickly for my website.

It would save a lot of hassle if you didn't have to import very b****y image individually on to your website when you have already collected them in Lightroom.

I used to use The Turning Gate for some galleries before I went to Zenfolio, so my experience might be a bit dated. They were very good, and as Jonathan did, exported the html files to my hard drive and then used FTP to upload, but the plug ins were capable to doing it alone.

I think the versions that I used were before the latest major update, so although they were more template based (therefore perhaps a little less complicated), the results were not as customisable.

If you want something quick, what about the built in web templates?

I needed to put up a private slideshow for a client yesterday. Nothing fancy - I'd normally use Dropbox but that is firewalled at their office. I was about 5 mins away from buying TTG Stage when I came across Juicebox (http://www.juicebox.net/). Not as fully featured but to some extent free ;)

Also, I had the gallery working 5 mins after download and ready to share 10 mins later.
