We've just received our post at 5.30pm!!!!!!

Is this a record folks or can you beat it?!

It's just unbelievable the state of our post office/royal mail now.

I can remember when you used to get your post before breakfast. The guy who delivered said it was the 2nd round he had done today!!

I honestly cannot be bothered with the Royal mail. Our post comes whenever it likes during the day so you have no idea wether you're getting post or not, I have to constantly email clients to check up wether they have received things I've sent them.

around 4:30 yesterday for us. like that most days now

we should have a system where there are loads of different postal companies and post boxes, might give royal mail a reason to do stuff decently

Our post used to be 8am every morning. Then that creeped up until 9, then 10.30~11 now its usually 2~3pm.

Same for me, and they are wanting our support

I got a letter today from my mortgage provider telling me that the discount period is coming to an end soon, it was dated 31st October !!!!

Where ************************* hell has it been for almost 1/2 a month :annoyed:

We got a note through the door Thursday saying Sorry you weren't in so I phoned Sorting Office 7.30am Friday and they said they would redeliver Saturday morning. Fair enough, happy with that - it was Dan's rugby boots so as long as he got them by lunchtime we didn't mind. Saturday morning came round and postlady came - no parcel

Phoned Sorting Office, was quite polite (surprisingly for me) and got told that the parcel was still on the shelf. Explained that the parcel was important and we'd asked for the company to get it to us by Saturday for a reason (didn't divulge too much). Gent at Sorting Office was pleasant enough and very apologetic.

Next thing I know, about an hour later (and 20 minutes before leaving for rugby) Postbus turns up with said parcel :D

Cue one very happy rugby player

This man restored my faith in the Sorting Office

(although probably won't take long til they balls up again!)
