The simplest things make me happy

This afternoon I've been playing around with the Bronica and off camera flash.

The Yongnuo trigger is a pain to get in the hotshoe - the prongs are a bit too long and need a bit of help against the springs.

Today I found I could put a thin piece of card in the hotshoe, push the trigger in then remove the card.

That's made me unfeasibly happy.

I had a similar experience when practising off-camera flash with the P and my trigger. You have to run a sync lead from camera to trigger and I put the trigger in the cold shoe. The flash didn't fire when I released the shutter but it did when I picked up the camera and moved the trigger. I realised that the connection on the bottom of the trigger was earthing on the camera body; strip of sparky's tape on the bottom of the trigger and Robert's was my mother's brother!
