Ok here's my problem, I have a Nikon D40 and I'm very found of using the old fashioned lenses (manual). Sometimes however I need to use flash. Trouble is that without a digital lens on the camera the flash (either built in or hot shoe) don't work.
Does anyone have any ideas as to how I can get the hot shoe flash to work with the camera set to manual please.
