Canon always were a step ahead when it came to promotion and publicity, atleast it aint a can of CocaCola

BTW, anyone missing a lens cap? ;)

That would mean that all Canon cameras are so out of date, they are positively prehistoric??? :p

Remember Nikon came first, so they must be older still

:canon:

I think every single member on here is missing one.
Or will be at some time in their photographic lives...lol It's like a photographers rite of passage, losing a lens cap. (Along with leaving the ISO at max, or loading the film the wrong away...lol)

ROFL. I saw that article and noticed the Canon lens cap as well. I thought it was there just as a reference for size.

Depends on which lens it is off:thinking:

I can picture the photographer there about to take the photo but on the phone with both Nikon and Canon publicity people and negotiating a price. ;)

strange canon were about in prehistoric times but have moved with the times, nikons are still living in the darkages :P

talking about lens caps im yet to loose one, or atleast loose one completely, they always seem to return, i lost one behind a speaker stack in a venue and i got it returned to me, and i lost another one shooting bikes on a hillside, and that was found amongst the mud by one of the bikers and returned to me

I lost one in the local park, went to Jessops and got a replacement, went back to the park and nearly trod on the original one. At least now I have a spare.
