Well ill be the first to post in this.

I will put my weight in now and what i would like to lose or get to.

You can just put what you would like to lose or just pop in now and again to

say you have lost a couple of pounds.

Any tips or advice post in here to help one and other

Well Im in with this too....but Im not saying my weight...just saying what I lose as i lose it! Woman's perogative!! ;)

i will be using Marcel's weightloss excel sheet. :thumbs:
 
Dave I did weightwatchers a couple of years ago and it works a treat - all based on points allowed (and a good chunk of commonsense!) I think I'll be combining that approach with upping my exercise (running mainly and maybe some cycling)

one thing i do which is bad is eat far to fast..

Last year I didn't lose as much as I liked, but I still managed to lose over 10% of my bodyweight without any real effort or exercise.

This year I am going to do it properly, along with the dreaded exercise!

Current Weight: 18st 8lbs
Target Weight: 14st 0lbs

I will weigh myself every Monday morning and aim for a realistic and very acheivable 2lbs per week minimum weightloss.

Exactly the right approach!!! 1 or 2 lb per week over a 3 month period will result in a loss of between 12 and 24 lbs

I'm finding it difficult to shift any weight at the moment

I'm currently 13st and a few lb but would like to get back down to around 12.5st

Dont own scales but, I know Im pushing toward 10st & my ideal is around 8 & 1/2.
Ill buy some scales to go with the exercise machine Im getting, so that I can monitor myself.

Oh! & I'll start when the Christmas chocolate is finished! :D
 
I know I should do this. I know I NEED to do this, but......anyone know where can I get some self control/willpower? Couldn't find any on Fleabay!

Never suceeded with dieting in the past:( And I hate exercise!!:razz:
but I will give it a go, once more.
 
Do it with US! we are all in it together.. once youve done it for a week it gets easier and easier. Although us Mums have to do the shopping...see all the chocolate..... take all the unfinished plates back to the kitchen,....the temptation is enormous....but if I can do it.....anyone can. And I lost 1.5 stone the last time we did this on the forum. :thumbs:
 
TP takes all my £'s so why not my lbs too :p

Trying to lose weight by cutting out crap food like biscuits / puddings etc plus doing 2 pieces of exercise a day (which I should be doing for my back problems anyway)
Choice of three - walking (good as I can take the D200) - Stretching exercises for 20mins (learned in spinal rehab) - 12-15mins X-Trainer machine (which I have at home - also re the back injury as its non impact)
When I go back to work I can do one of these activities there :naughty:

1/1/07 I'm 95kilos or 15st for the decimally challenged :thinking:
Hoping to lose 1st to 14st (or 90kilos)

OMG! I just got weighed and I am 7lbs heavier than I was at the start of December :eek: Thursday will be my start day. I'll follow the Slimming World plan as I've done it successfully before - it's sensible and you can eat loads :D I'm no good with fad or starvation diets, plus the fact they're not good for you. I'll get weighed again on Thursday, and take all my measurements, go shopping for healthy food, and ditch any remaining junk.

Well, today was my weigh in day............13st 0lbs and 6oz while stark b0**0C|< naked :D

I think i need to get to about 12.5st, does anyone know a good site with a reliable BMI calculator on it?
 
I have stopped eating snacks between meals and stopped drinking beer, also started getting some exercise (walking and biking)

I am going to weight myself tomorrow morning before getting ready for work, I have done weight watchers in the past so might try to dig out my books, but know what I need to do, cut down on the chocolate and junk food, and do some exercise.
Will not be posting my weight as ashamed of how much I weigh, but I will be posting up what I am loosing when I weigh myself.

Damn! I was supposed to be weighing myself today......but havent been good on the eating front. :(

Done quite a bit of extra walking though....so I will try again with the eating this week. :thumbs:
 
My weigh in day is Thursday, so a few days to go yet :) I have been very good though - lots of fresh fruit & veg & yoghurt rather than chocolate & crisps & cakes. Just got to get my backside down to the gym then.....

I agree! And for those who haven't managed it.....don't give up, we are still all in this together, start NOW and crack on for next week.
After Ive done it for a week I find it pretty easy....it's that first week though!
 
Grrr! Im still ill and havent been outside the house for 4 days now, I can see me putting more weight on before I actually get started with this, oh & the only thing I can taste right now is .... chocolate! :help:
 
I'm 82kgs as of this morning so will weight myself next Sunday.

I'm very fat lol, am joining the local gym again (had to stop going cos of money) so hopefully will be less fat soon.

2 years ago I weighed over 23 stone, got down to 17 stone by eating right and gym. Since not going to gym i have put a lot of it back on but now i am going back again i hope to get back there if not lower this time.

Ideal would be 15 to 16 stone.
 
I was a very bad boy last week and gained 2bs instead of losing it :(

Don't apologize to us! This is about making you happy. I don't have a way to weigh myself so at the moment I just know that I'm making good decisions although I must say that 2 days of not being able to eat has probably helped!
 
Not a good day for me today :( Just got in from work now (5.30pm) and the last time I ate was 07.15am :eek: It has been extremely busy and very stressful today that I just haven't had the time to eat. I've managed to keep well hydrated as I always have a bottle of water in the car. Just off to have some re-heated shepherds pie now..mmmmm
 
Think I might have to join in on this. Havent got my new years exercise system going yet :|

Current Weight: 22.5 Stone
Target Weight: 15 Stone (About as low as I imagine ever getting)
 
I weighed in on Sunday and hadn't shifted an ounce :(

However last night I got 'in the zone'! and am now determined to sort this out and am using weight watchers approach to shift some!!!

So I went and dusted the scales off at 06:10 monday morning, all ready to shock myself and get a starting weight for this, all ready to go, however it came up with the error message of Batt so guessing that means it needs some new batteries as yet not had chance to get any for it. However I have tried to be good, started having breakfast before leaving the house and got through the last two mornings without snacking which is my major problem. Then gone from lunch through to tea without snacking as well, so reasonably happy with myself so far.

Well I'm not posting my weight either, good grief, :gag: I am doing ok actually this week, but it's only Tuesday,lol :lol:

I can't seem to give up my chips and dip/nachos and salsa before bedtime though, that's my killer tbh! :D

also a Wendy's, McDonalds, Burger King, Tim Hortons, Casey's, East side Mario's, it just doesn't end. :bang:
