I just came across the Minox AG 1 flash unit, and I couldn't resist sharing it with you all! If you're into photography, especially if you love using compact equipment, this device may interest you. I dived deep into its features and benefits and was impressed of its user-friendly design and performance.

Although this flash unit is tailor-made for the Minox A on the outside, it technically represents the common concepts of flash units of the time. For all those who are interested in such things, I have compiled this together with text, pictures and 2 (short) videos.

Check it out here:

I flirted with the Minox system a few years ago but lovely jewellery as the equipment may be, it's not very practical for my needs.

Mind you, I can't quite make up my mind to part with the small cardboard box that contains my outfit...

Looks like a nice B and C. If you ever fancy using them again I'd happily reload your plastic cassettes (assuming you still have some) with 9.2mm film.

What a beautiful collection! Well, you don't have to take photos with these beautiful devices, you can just look at them and enjoy them.

If you do want to do so, you can find all the information you need here:

Oh yes, loading Minox cartridges is quite a challenge:

It's not a challenge at all. If you know how to load film then it's pretty much the same just a bit (a lot) smaller.

Yes, but then you won't have to view his videos which is what this thread is all about.

Enjoy the present, and you’ll have a wonderful past in the future.

That's actually what Minox photography is all about for me.:film:
