thought I would start a thread for Long Lens and wildlife togs to share tips info etc

right anyone thinking of buying the new Nikon z8. , I am tempted to jump ship from Sony, if the body is a similar weight to the Sony bodies and pair it with the pf500 Lens

Interested to know what would make you want to jump from Sony to the Z8.

Really like the pf500 Lens its so light and a bit Sharper than the Sony , and hopefully the z8 body will be a good bit lighter although rumors stating its going to just under a kilo, so will have to wait and see

Quoting 4500 euros on the rumor mill , If it drops to £3k on panamoz il be tempted

I’d say rent first before switching from Sony. Depending on how you get on with Sony and what you shoot it may not be worth switching.

I couldn't justify that for what, for me, is an expensive toy.
