I had the pleasure of having a good phone conversation with the infamous 'Kerso' the other week, where he kindly offered to donate a prize, in order to run a competition on Talk Photography, as a way of saying 'Thankyou' to our members for their support.
He offered to leave the format of the competition for us to decide, and after a little chat behind the scenes, we've decided the following :
It's a one round competition, lasting 3 weeks. The theme is literally anything. We've thrown it open to whatever you like. We would prefer it if you took a photo specifically for this comp, but feel free to enter something you have already taken, maybe sat around on your hard drive, untouched by daylight until now. One photo only per member of course. (If there are more than one then the staff will randomly choose the photo which stays
)
We have also created a specific gallery for you all to upload to here.
Just click the link and then at the top right, click on Upload Photos, and follow the process to upload your photo.
Don't forget to give it a title, and normally gallery restrictions apply (800pixels along the longest edge and 160k in filesize).
At the end of the 3 weeks. The gallery will be closed and we will put up a poll for voting for a few days, for you, the members to decide on the winner.
The prize kindly donated by Ian ('Kerso' on here, and the ebay vendor of the same name), is a Sandisk III 1Gb Memory Card
