we all know it can get tedious to caption and keyword all your pictures, especially for minor events that have little or no media interest.

Never underestimate a well organised online archive though. I just had a very nice sale to a Canadian national magazine for some ice hockey images from 2010 and that was a game I only shot to try out my new 1D3.

Keep organised - you never know who will want your pictures.

The main change in my work flow is that I now caption & keyword in Photo Mechanic and then move to Lightroom for image processing. Other than that most of it is still roughly the same.

Your spot on though. Key wording is vital for archive shots if you have a library available via the likes of IDS or Photo Shelter. :)
