I thought I would post up that The Heat Company currently have a 25% off Black Friday deal going on until 2nd December.
Firstly I should mention their gloves are at the higher end of the market. The liners are reasonably priced compared to other manufacturers but the shell over mitts are at quite costly but very well made. The liners can be worn on their own (I’ve been wearing the Wind Pro Liners as my main glove so far this winter for everything from photography through to everyday activities).
After recommendations on here last year (https://www.talkphotography.co.uk/threads/gloves.688738/page-2)I had purchased some gloves from them but I had an issue with the zip position and them being slightly tight. The tightness was because how I measured my hands (I’d measured around my hand quite tightly so it was a snug fit). Their help via email was second to none and their return process was very easy. They even sent out a different size before I’d sent the previous ones back! They said I would be best to compare the two sizes against what I felt was best for me. In the end last year I ended up returning everything but a few weeks later purchasing their new Wind Pro Liner gloves to wear as the only layer. With the Black Friday discount it’s helped me pick up the shells. I was a little undecided whether I’d really need the outer shells for the UK but if you often go to other colder countries then they would be quite useful. If we have a cold snap this year at least I will be properly prepared.
I should say they even let you choose the palm zip position if you put it in the comments box- I’ve gone with zip at little finger when closed to allow comfortable use of walking poles when the zip is closed. Some photographers will like it at the other end to allow only the index finger to come out of the glove to press the shutter.
The discount is automatically applied to everything on their website:
