I remember reading in AP somewhere around late 1990s about a lorry being stolen with a few thousand Contax T2s in it.
Does anyone else remember this? Always wondered if they were ever recovered.

He did well to get that going. My Ricoh GRD looked like it had been in a blender after I attempted a "repair".

I would love a Contax T2 but they are rather expensive for a disposable camera, I'll stick to my Aria and its 45mm Tessar.

And yet many of the Contax TVS cameras on ebay and the freeads are advertised as having faults. It seems that the ribbon of wiring that is attached to the extendible lens detatches from the soldered connections. I know that it can be fixed, but at what cost?
