I've found that it is a very handy tool in seeing how good a lens is said to be, and how sharp it is.

Well said Poison, It's pretty darn good I reckon, the chap is a smidge biased mind and over rates a few things but I give all the reviews www.the-digitalpicture.com detailed read through as part of good research on lenses etc. In in all a great site with great resources, I bought my Sigma 30mm prime based on his review and when it arrived I can confirm he was pretty smack on the nail
