Many moons ago I used to enjoy photography and had some ok kit.
Not long after the kids were born I started selling stuff off. Eventually all I was left with was some cheap flashes, a Fuji 35mm and a Sigma 105mm Macro for Canon. Couldn’t bring myself to sell them despite no body!
I’ve sat on them a long time. Over the years I’ve added a Sony ZV-1 but it’s used purely for recording YouTube content.
Now I’m craving a camera again. A way to disconnect from my phone/laptop and get outside. For photos, the ZV-1 gives me no satisfaction at all (love it for video).
I’m thinking of selling the Sigma and using that to buy an old Fuji XE-2/3.
Ideally I would love the XM5 and have another option for YouTube. But budget…
What’s my question again?!
On a low budget, and repurposing that old 35mm. Can anyone recommend a better option for Fuji?
I’ve used an XE before. Whilst fiddly for my hands. I appreciated the pocket size. But I’ve been out of the game a while and have little idea what’s changed.
