The Canon 60d Clearance already?

I think the answer is in the small print:

So it's a one-off and possibly not quite Brand New in Box!
 
but still couldnt they use it as a display in one of their shops or a demo model, just seems weird to put it in their clearance section.

I suspect they already have enough demo models.

I also suspect the clearance one got returned as too complex by somebody who couldn't operate even a door handle.
 
I *think* if the get stock returned under DSR etc they can't advertise it as new so it becomes a "clearance" item
 
Yup, it's obviously a return as the packaging is damaged. And normal consumer regulations will apply, so it's not too bad a bargain.
 
I retract my previous statement. Amazon have the 60D £10 cheaper than Jessops clearance.
 
Best price is at HDEW at £699!!!

If not for an already full compliment, boy would I tempted
