I am puzzled, Yesterday I purchased a Nikon AF-S 50mm F1.4G from Jessops for 299. I seee on this forum a well known company advertising the same lens for 349.95 reduced from 449.95. A couple of months ago I purchases a 10-24 Tamron from Jessops 20 notes cheaper than Jacobs. If members wish to shout down Jessops and pay more for products that is OK by me. :cuckoo:

Just think you could have paid £286 from Mifsuds instead.
See Camerapricebuster.

............and only £289.89 (+ P&P) from Warehouse Express. If members wish to pay more than this it's OK by me :cuckoo:

289.89 + p&p is not much less than 299.00, then you have the wait, hoping it arrives ok and you did not check it over before parting with your cash.

Didn't you know?
It's one of the prime rules of photography...

Equipment is ALWAYS cheaper somewhere else, But you ONLY discover this after buying it.

It's similar to Sod's law I believe... :)

cheers

Aren't Jessops having a crazy sale on their Sigma products at the moment due to them going bust? Lenses got for 1/4 of the price have been reported on one of the other forums I attend.

On selected lenses and then only if there are any in stock in the country. ;)

On Sigma lenses it seems as they seem to be moving to stocking tamron instead. I got a Sigma 18-200 for £110, was £150 but then they could not find the box so got another £40 off, bargain!!!

Yes and try getting one that is a Nikon, Canon, or Sony fit.
