We've had this bush in the front garden since moving in nine years ago, and it's probably trebled in size during that time. Every year it gets covered in Bees, just before taking a few shots I counted seven and noticed there were at least two species. We've always called it the Bee Bush, does anyone know what it actually is?

Looks like one of the Cotoneaster shrubs, there are various forms and yes the bees do like to forage the flowers :)

PS though I had never thought of them as invasive as mentioned here https://www.rspb.org.uk/birds-and-w...-wildlife/shrubs-for-gardens/invasive-shrubs/

You star Box Brownie I can't thank you enough:giggle: They'll be so many Bees on it some days it's like the bush is moving. We've never cut it back, we just let it do what it's doing which
keeps the Bees happy...It's a bit strange to be classed as invasive, not that I know anything about plants. I could understood if it grew out of control and choked everything in it's
path, but it seems to be a fairly slow grower. Keeps the Bees happy which is important:giggle:
