I did smile at the end but I also wished it was some buried gold.

I think I'm going to nip round my Dad's and borrow his metal detector now.........

I guessed it was going to be some sort of set up but didn’t expect the ending. :D

I did not guess a set up… nor did I expect that ending!

???
What kinda guy are you to pretend to have a nicer day
with coins than a woman???

Don't answer the question, Jeff! :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::wacky:
Probably because I didn’t watch the video beyond the first 30 seconds ,seen to many yanks blubbering over finding a item from the 1940’s

Columbus discovers America in 1492 so when I saw 1344 on the box I knew something is up!

CC discovered a small island… not America!

I think it was the fact he took so long to open the box. If it was genuine, he would’ve done it straight away. (I know I would!). Then he ignores the thing wrapped in cloth to stop and read the bible? (And he just happened to have a bible with him?).

Still a nice clip though;)

I don't think he 'discovered' anything in 1492. The various islands he reached on his first voyage were already inhabited...;)

Recent discoveries propose an first occupation of America from
the north-east — rather than from the Behring straight — tens
of thousand years before, during a ice-age.
