Yes
Evidently a traffic warden had a moment of light lightheartedness and stuck an empty parking notice envelope onto a wheelie bin 'parked' on double yellows.

I find the councils reaction - "Although this was meant as a humorous incident, we take this kind of thing very seriously and have launched a formal investigation into the conduct of this officer." bizarre.

FFS they get enough bad press, (and probably deservedly, :D )
but to make a formal investigation out of it beggers believe!

Was the Bin Laden?

................I'll get my coat.
That wheely wasn't funny was it? :p

I find it rather encouraging that traffic wardens do have hearts somewhere .... How sad that they felt it necessary to "launch a formal investigation" ...

Still rubbish;)

Why has DM spun it?

New guy, first day on the bin lorry, arrives at one house and cant find the bin.
Has a good look round and cant find it so he knocks on the door.
No reply, he waits a bit knocks again.
Still no reply. Waits a bit longer and knocks again.
Eventually, an out of breath oriental chap opens the door
"Harro?"
"Hello mate, where's your bin?"
"I bin on toiret, why?"
"No, no, I mean where's your dust bin?!
"I tord you, I dust bin on toiret!"
"No, no your not getting me, I mean where's your wheelie bin?"
"Ok, ok, I wheelie bin having a w**k"

Ithangu.
:coat:

It could have been worse though.....it could have been arrested for an act of public bindecency.........
Personally I think that's just "f*****g rubbish" :p
