Watching the video in this thread http://www.talkphotography.co.uk/threads/one-for-the-wildlife-photographers.563750/ made me think we all got stories so lets amuse ourselves
Back of a pebble ridge on my local beach I noticed a variety of birds bathing in puddles, there were several puddles but there appeared to be a few favourite puddles.
Next day a Sunday I was there at crack of dawn lied on the ground by one of the chosen puddles, sure enough birds arrived.
Now I am lied down nobody else in sight, the pebble ridge must be getting on for a mile long, I am roughly in the middle, 30mins went by a 4 wheel drive vehicle enters the track it arrives by me the driver notices me made what can only be described as a emergency parking procedure, back off the customery 4 wheel drive and lets out 4 dogs.
It might surprise to you all that the birds dissapeared
