Thanks for all your advice re our trip to London. It pee'd down most of the time we were there, but what the heck? It was a day out. Ideas for locations were most welcome for a complete stranger to the bright lights.

We had lunch in Tate Modern, not the bistro suggested. Big mistake - a long wait for barely warm food. Then a 12.5% sevice charge. Suppose that's City prices for you.

Anyway the pub was good. Coach and Horses is just what a pub should be, thanks for the tip. Pity we had a train to catch!!!

Nothing to write home about. There's a couple on my flickr site you can see including an "illegal immigrant" being pulled out of the Thames - honest - but the light was poor, and the crowds.....
I played about with a shot of Floral Street, but that was out of desperation really!
Best shots really were in the graffitti tunnel under Waterloo Station.

Plan is for us to go back next February, so we'll see what that brings.
