As a Hull City fan you can understand that today I've been doing everything I could to avoid thinking about the results from todays games. So glad we scraped through, even if we didn't exactly do it in style. Here's to next season, some much-needed money and the thought of actually keeping our good pre-Xmas run going for a bit longer next time. 40+ points next season, and three or four places clear of the drop zone, that's my bet for next season.

Bad luck Baggies, Boro and Magpies fans - didn't think I'd see Boro and Newcastle go down the ay they have. Man Utd as alway shave been awesome but at least we're seeing the likes of Villa, Everton and Fulham (well done Roy Hodgeson) up in the Euro places.

Liverpool must be team of the season though - come from nowhere really to show Chelsea and my other team, the Gunners, how football should be played.

It's all personal opinion, but I've enjoyed watching LFC much more than the rest because they look like they've got a bit of fire in their belies when they're on it. Man Utd are slick and just brilliant, but I don't like the cocksure attitude of several of its key players. It's almost like a tram of individuals.... but I suppose that's no bad thing with yet another title in their trophy room :)

Okay, coming from the past few year where all we heard about was Chelsea this, Chelsea that is what I meant. Don't think at the start of the season we were thinking it would be LFC who'd be challenging MU for the title. :)

Someone has to be :) Someone has to support Hull to!! :)

LFC finished 4th last year by the way, 3rd the year before that ;)

I called it months back, Being a Newcastle fan we have been realy poor IMHO since Sir Bobby left

What Mike Ashley has done however is a disgrace, 4 managers in a season? constant partying early on thinking he was great, not an image we like to be looked at as, its firmly wiped the smile from him face as well as taking some weight out of his pocker (losing around £180m with the value of the club)

Lets hope the club rebuild, hire Shearer, give him time and come back at the Premiership stronger than we have done over the past few years

And how to drop stupid points at home and how to blow a 7 point lead and have a stupid paranoid manager

And I loathe Utd as well

As a football hater, I'm glad it's finished too.
Hopefully I can have a few months of undisrupted telly viewing, and be able to watch the news without football being crammed down my throat.
No such luck though, because there will be all the transfer speculation to be bored to tears with and no doubt internationals and "friendlies" being shown in place of scheduled programs.
All the promises that the advent of terestrial digital television would end programme disruptions were a pile of betty swollox.

I don't think footy is rammed down our throats as much these days with Setanta and Sky having every Premier League game exclusive. Each to his own and all that but you deny folk who don't have satellite their fix from the news or MOTD

Good point specialman. League football is easily avoidable compared to the old days. So I should complain too much :)

Yeah I too am grateful for small mercy's
