Hi Everyone,

I am new to this forum, I love taking standard photographs and am here to pick up some tips for future shots that I may take! Further to this, I am also interested in working with photographers!

I need some assistance...

I need to invest in another camera (not too expensive) specifically to take pictures of anything that inspires me whilst i'm out and about and for makeup and hair etc. If anyone could kindly reccomend a camera to me, I would appreciate it very much!

I trained in Fashion Make up/Hairstyling at GreasepaintStudios Ltd. In January I will be completing Hair and Makeup for TV, Film, Theatre and also Airbrushing!

Greasepaint is the best known Make Up School, training given by top Make Up artist, Christine Vidler who did The Clothes Show and The Michael Parkinson Show, and Hair Stylist Sue Bide who was trained by the BBC and BAFTA nominated.

I was wondering whether anyone would be interested to work with me on test shoots or anythign related to this. If there are people on this forum who have just started there career in Photography and wish to build up a portfolio, I will be more than happy to help you out as a makeup artist and hairstylist!

If you are interested, I will be delighted to hear from you!

Thank you for reading

Zana,

I would suggest that you register on places like Purestorm & ModelMayhem, both have the facility for MUA's and there is always plenty of TFP work going.

You could also split the cost of a studio with a photographer, having first discussed what you both want to achieve and then get some TFP models in, that way you get creative control over your own work.

Keep hanging around here, there's bound to be some TFP work around - we're a tight bunch !

I'm always looking for anyone willing to work with me in Studio, but I can't really travel up to London! I also seem to have trouble finding models lmao!

Thank you Steve, I had never heard of Purestorm before. I registered on there today and I have already managed to get a couple of people for TFP/TFCD!

Thanks very much for your help! I really appreciate it!

Id be interested in seeing some of your stuff, i need to get some studio work done in the new year..

Hey Fraggle,

I have not put up any pictures, as the ones I have, the models did not give me their consent to post their pictures on the internet. I have managed to get a photographer for this weekend and by the new year I will have many pictures for you to look through! Watch this space! :)

Take care, thanks to evreyone who has so far helped me out!
