What great entertainment. Surely this has to come back to our screens?
 
Brilliant. Makes me feel old but it destroys the other chat shows.
 
Pretty sure I read this week that if the one-off proved popular enough, a full revival will be considered.

So it cant have been that good, as just about all TV these days has a yawn factor, so almost anything would be a wake up call............ ;)
 
Whilst I loved the original and loved the comeback, a part of me wonders if we should leave it there and not try to force something.

Look at top gear, it got stale and a lot of people wanted change. Would be a shame if TFI did that.

However I'd be up for one series just for posterity. As long as they stick to the formula of cracking bands.
Was just watching some YouTube clips, forgotten how many great bands they had, that no one else would have dared to.
Naplam death, slipknot, Metallica, reef, foo fighters , green day, just to name a few... At 6.00 pm on a Friday! Crazy times.

I thought that too, maybe a series could get like that but lets try. Don't think TG did become stale, was still hilarious right till the end.
 
My eldest daughter (15 years old) just watched it on 4OD and she said - WTF :)
 
I'm just watching it now .... how rude is that audience talking amongst themselves during Amanda Seyfried's interview.
 
And the winner is... TFI TOP GEAR

Top Gear rebooted, with irreverent guests, live music and some car stuff thrown in.

On a serious note, either Chris Evans or James Martin would be capable of fronting a Top Gear reboot, either would make the previous run look 'ordinary'.

I was thinking the very same. Maybe a different house band every week, keep the reasonably priced car lap feature, do some usual top gear track tests with cars we can only dream of, but also some more mainstream everyday stuff too. A mix of TFI, TG and 5th Gear would be ideal.
