The text layer that I create is not visible for some reason in Photoshop.

The words I am typing are showing on the layers pallette as usual but the actual text is not showing on the image.

I have made sure I am not typing white on white, checked the size of font.. and it is big enough... and made sure the text layer is not hidden and it is active.

The tiny dot on the image which denotes where the text is for when you want to drag the layer around is there and can be dragged about but with no text showing still.

I have opened a new blank white page and tried adding text to that but the same thing happens.

Any ideas?

I cant highlight it LL I can only move it by dragging the tiny dot that shows. In the layers palette, the text layer becomes named as what I am typing though, as normal.

And Marcel, it is in normal blend mode 100% opacity, 100% fill

This is getting desparate, as I am doing a job for a client that must be sent off asap what with this postal lark. :|

I have changed my workspace to "Working with Text" and the text now shows.

I then changed it back to the Automation workspace and the text is showing there too!

Amazing what you can do with a bit of a fiddle!!! ;) :naughty:
