Where is the best place to photograph terns near south London? I was thinking of going to the Farne Isles but I wonder if a trip to Bempton to see puffins etc and a trip to place x to see Terns near London might be better use of time and money.

Richmond Park, I have seen some on Pen Ponds but as I have not gone past PP recently (go walking in the Park normally 2/week) cannot say with any certainty that they are currently there.
I could be wrong but they will be a different Tern from those at Farne Islands....
