Tenerife Quiet Christmas area?

Can anyone suggest a quiet area of Tenerife for a pensioner Christmas holiday? Easy walking preferred. Not bothered about night life, just peace and quiet. Usually go to Corfu with Tui but nothing open at Christmas. Just toying with the idea at present.

Give it time, you'll get some response I'm sure. I've never been but ... if it's peace and quiet and just a relaxing walk holiday with better weather than UK for Christmas, there must be dozens of EU options, why Tenerife in particular?

Though not Christmas, a few years back we enjoyed some holidays on Gran Canaria at Puerto de Mogan.

I am aware that there has been further development there.......but it was relatively quiet compared to the likes of Maspolomas and another resort (cannot recall the name of the place) we visited to go on a whale watching trip.

Gran Canaria is better at Xmas , we go there a lot, look at massapolmus

Ah! Thank you for the suggesties. Much appreciated. I just thought Tenerife to get some winter sun. I hate winter!
