It's that cycle of camera refresh time again. I just sent off my two 5D3 and in return I plan to get one more 5D4 and then a Sony A7R2 as my backup of the backup/travel camera. My intention is to use it mainly for travel but will get a Canon mount adaptor of all my Canon lenses so I have a few questions.

1 - What is the Sony A7R2 mount call...? and how do I know the lens I am looking at fit on it. Like for Canon I know all EF lenses do.
2 - What is the best adaptor with Autofocus?
3 - What is the best 35mm and 50mm prime for the Sony A7R2?

Thanks

1. Fe mount.
2. Metabones mark 4 t will work best with your canon glass. The sigma mc11 will work best with canon mount sigma glass.
3. The Sony Zeiss 35mm f1.4 (although consider the sigma art adapted). 50mm Sony Zeiss f1.4. Big and expensive. Consider the Sony Zeiss 55 f1.8. It's a stunner, smaller and cheaper.

Minor clarification regarding the mount.

The Mount is the E-mount (it is the same for Full frame or APS-C), but full frame lenses are 'FE' lenses

Have a look in the Dyxum Lens Database fro what is available

http://www.dyxum.com/lenses/index.asp

You need to select Fixed / Zoom / Macro first, then select E-Mount (drop down on the right), Format Full Frame.
You can then filter by manufacturer, focal length, etc.

In addition to the specs, there are also user reviews / ratings, which gives a rough guide to the quality of the lenses (these are user reviews, so can be a bit varied in how they are rated)
