I have a canon 400D and have had a few issues with it over the past few months.
Using my old sigma 24-70 on autofocus it would occassionaly not focus properly, it would just go out to minimum focus distance and sit there. It occassionally did the same on my Tamron 90mm macro as well. I thought it was just some bad connection inside the camera.
Now I seem to have a slightly different problem. My tamron 90mm and sigma 10-20 seem to work fine with autofocus (no sign of the occassional problem listed above), but using my tamron 28-300mm VC it doesnt autofocus at all.
It just goes out to minimum, then to maximum thenback to minimum again like it simply doesnt know how to focus.
How on earth do I diagnose this problem? Is there anywhere I can take my camera and lenses to have them checked out?
