Tamron AF 28-200mm Super Zoom f3.8-5.6 Aspherical (IF) Macro 1:4

You should be buying nappies and talcum powder :D . Back to topic - I don't know that one but a look on Tamron's site suggests that it's very similar to my Tamron AF 18-200 mm F3.5 - F6.3 Di-II. As far as I can see the main difference is that mine is digital only where as yours can be used with film as well

Anyway, it will be well built, sharp images although soft as you get to 180+. I think it's an excellent all purpose, walkabout lens. I don't think you'll regret it.

regards

Is this the same one:

Fredmiranda.com

If so it seems to get a good rating.

Thanks guys.
Warspite...it is the same one, having a look at the review now.

Also looking at the pic link...thanks Lib
and Stef...I've more nappies than I can shake a bottle of talc at thank you!

I've got the 28-300 version & I'm very happy with it . It gets a bit soft at 300mm but yours shouldn't do that ..............

Ps Congrats on the new arrival :)
