Tamron 150mm-600mm - yes or no?

So I'm looking for an affordable replacement for my pair of Canon 100-400mm lenses. I work in Kenya where light isn't as much of an issue as in the UK. I use 7d's.
(Prime lovers don't shoot me but I far prefer the flixibility of a zoom!)

Anyone have any experience of the new Tamron 150-600mm f5-6.3 lens?
